Personal Experience

Caresse Duru is an Associate Attorney at Mokolo Law Firm, specializing in immigration law. She earned her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences & Disorders from Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from Vermont Law School, where she also served as a Student Clinician in the family law clinic for two semesters. While in the clinic, Caresse assisted in representation of domestic violence victims, children, and people with various legal issues. As a law student, Caresse interned with Texas RioGrande Legal Aid and the Dallas County Public Defender’s Office. Prior to joining Mokolo Law firm, Caresse worked on cases involving family law and social security disability.

Driven by a commitment and dedication to helping others, Caresse approaches each case with compassion and an eagerness to assist clients in navigating complex legal issues.

Outside of her legal career, Caresse enjoys reading and traveling.
