Personal Experience

Evelyn Garcia is an Associate Attorney at Mokolo Law Firm, where she focuses on family law. Licensed since Fall 2022, she is dedicated to providing compassionate and effective legal support to clients navigating challenging family matters.

Evelyn earned her Bachelor’s degrees in English and Philosophy, with Minors in Psychology and History, from the University of Houston – Downtown. She furthered her education by obtaining her Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law in May 2022. During her time at law school, Evelyn demonstrated her commitment to public service as president of the Public Interest Law Fellowship and was an active member of the Latinx Law Student Association. She also interned with the Texas A&M Family and Veterans Advocacy Law Clinic, where she gained valuable practical experience.

After graduation, Evelyn completed a two-year fellowship with Equal Justice Works at Beacon Law, a local nonprofit dedicated to serving Houston’s homeless community. This experience solidified her passion for helping those in need and reinforced her desire to be a resource for individuals facing difficult circumstances.

A lifelong resident of Houston, Evelyn is deeply committed to her community. In her free time, she enjoys reading, exploring new subjects, and cherishing moments with her family and their beloved dog, Cookie. Through her work, Evelyn strives to make a positive impact in the lives of her clients, guiding them through some of their most trying times with empathy and expertise.
